Facility size and investment in recycling equipment and scope of processing are excellent measures of responsible electronic recycling activities.  Electronic recycling is complicated, and results in multiple product streams of harvested parts and recyclable materials.

To responsibly and efficiently manage the volume of electronics that we handle, Sims operates large automated recycling plants which average 244,000 square feet, or about the size of 5 football fields. Our largest North American facility in Mississauga Ontario is 290,000sq ft.
